I'm here today to show off my November pages,
But first I would like to tell you,
I am still unable to comment on other peoples work
when I try to leave comment it keeps disappearing,
(blogger isn't even throwing me to the brown sign in page)
CAN ANYONE HELP, I am so frustrated AHHHH!!!!!!
My finished OCTOBER page will appear as if by magic
near the bottom of this post,
For those of you that are not in the know,
where have you been?????
this year long challenge is in its autumn time of life for this year,
we are nearing the end only Nov/ Dec to go,
head over to the Kathryn wheel blog to see what every one has been up to,
Here is my November page,
I thought I would do a fallen leaf theme
hope you like it.
Here's the distress ink colours I used
to create the background,
& here's the stash I used for the stamping part,
for the November I used my fave Tim Holtz alphabet stamps,
I coloured it in with copic markers,
the leaves are cut from the tattered leaves die
& from textured card that I sanded & distressed
the squirrel is from an google image search,
& the sentiment I made up myself &
printed out on the computer,
The squares are again as the other months part of a TSV on QVC
bought ages ago (glad to put them to good use)
I doodled around each square with a zig pen & a white gel pen,
the days of the week are done on my computer,
as are the numbers (then punched out with a square punch)
& coloured with copic markers,
Hope you like it!
Here's my October pages all filled out,
Only one more set of pages to go,
bit sad about that as I have enjoyed
keeping up with this challenge
(but I will say keeping track daily has made the year fly)
anyway that's me for today,
other than to say a huge thank you
to each & every one of you that has left me a comment
I love to read them, & they are much appreciated.
Thanks for stopping by,
Back soon,
Kat x.
I like your finished October pages!
ReplyDeleteYour pages are gorgeous! I always love stopping here at the beginning of the month and checking out "how" you do your pages. They are stunning! I need to get me some of that distress ink and try it out...they seem to create such a soft and subtle look.
ReplyDeleteLove your color choices for November. Oct was a delightful one too. I hate to see this end. Maybe we can continue.... :-)

ReplyDeleteLove both your pages and especially the fallen leaves on the November one. Blogger wont let me comment on anyones blog if i use internet explorer so i have to use firefox if i want to comment on other peoples blogs but explorer if i want to post anything on my own blog!?? Crazy, and driving me mad to but I have not been able to find a fix for this. Hope this helps x
ReplyDeleteI do love your fallen leaves theme for November. Love the cute squirrel! Thank you for once again showing how you make your pages.
