today I would like to shear my creation
for the fab new challenge over at studio L3
It's called GRUNGY MONDAY & its week 2
click HERE to find out all about it.
The challenge this week is to use this technique,
( Distress Ink with Studio Multi Medium )
Linda has a link to the video you need to watch on her blog
So Here's my wall hanger thingy,
The technique is the sun ray part,
(I was a bit nerves with this technique because I had never come across it before,
so I decided once the first stamp was successful
I wouldn't push my luck & do more in case it went horribly wrong)LOL
In the pictures below are what I used on the project,
with the addition of the sizzix leaf die, vintage buttons,
natural twine & a metal dragonfly
(I forgot to include them)silly me.
I used a brown coloured chipboard shape
so I had to cover it, I used whats in the picture below,
here's some different angled shots,
to show dimention.
This also fits some other challenges out there,
so I am also entering this for,
The challenge is SHOW ANYTHING BUT A CARD,
The challenge is ANYTHING TIM,
The challenge is LAYERS
Hope you like it!
I see I have even more followers,
I'm chuffed you like what I make enough to follow me,
& I appreciate all your fab comments you take the time to leave,
so thank you to you all.
I'm off to link this up all over blog land LOL
Back soon,
Kat x.

Oh WOW i absolutely love your hanging plaque, you use the same ones that i use, from Papermania? you get them with rings in a pk of 6? I love using them and made a plaque in Shabby Chic for Barbara Gray (i am one of her designers too) i made it for her to hang in her new kitchen, however, it is shabby chic, yours is my favourite genre, 'vintagey' i absolutely love grunge, and getting my hands dirty lol...distress inks are brill and i have about 8 of them not many but enough for now, i love everything tim holtz does too however i havent got any of his stamps, grungeboard is great too, but i sniff it rather than use it .....if you have smelt it you'll know Ghat i mean.......ive never heard of grungey Monday but will defo look into it now so thankyou for that Kat, your plaque is really good!!!i love it!!!
