today I would like to show my entry for
the sunday stamper week 150 over at
ink on my fingers blog,
Hel's has some fab candy up for grabs,
to celebrate her 1000 posts & 150 weeks of Sunday stampers
the theme is LOVE, (Her printers tray is amazing)
check it out HERE
So here's my entry,
it's another wall hanging,
I am also entering this for the
the theme this time is to
show a lord Tim of Holtz technique
(the technique I choose is blended batik
from Tims Compendium of Curiosities book)
& for
the theme this time is to use
texture fade embossing folder
Linda has a Video for you to watch over HERE
to inspire you.
Here are some shots to show these techniques,
Blended Batik technique,
Texture Fades on the wings & label background,
here's some different angles
to try to show the textures & dimension
I've used some new stash on this project like the
papillion & haberdashery stamp sets,
the labels die & the
fab distress stain in weatherd wood
(these stains are amazing I would highly recommend them)
I have just rememberd the monthly challenge over at
is layers so I may as well stick it on there as well LOL
& while i'm at it the stamp man challenges blog
have the theme of embossing this time,
so in for a pound, in for a penny hay!
I hope you like it!
I'm off to link this up all round blog land,LOL
Thanks for stopping by,
Back soon,
Kat x.
