BEFORE I START I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU I HAVE BLOG CANDY
PLEASE CLICK HERE TO READ ALL ABOUT IT
THERE'S ONLY A FEW DAYS LEFT
BEFORE THE DRAW TO GET YOUR COMMENTS IN.
I know I'm a bad blogger lately, sorry I have been so slap dash,
I've been busy with reel life stuff again, & not much sign of that letting up,
but I have managed to get this tag in for,
Simon says stamp and show blog challenge
the theme this week is to make a TAG,
& Grunge Monday 10 challenge
the theme this week is to use DISTRESS INKS
click the links to read all the details,
Here's my tag,
Here's what I used & how I made it,
To make the background
I glued a book page to a scrap of card,
then die cut it with Tim's, Tag & book plate die,
I then used the Distress inks & template picture below,
I saw this background being demonstrated at
Ally Pally craft show a few months ago,
by Sam Poole herself,
it's so quick & easy, & very effective.
Next I die cut the flowers & leaves out of scraps of
Tim's Retro paper stack,
assembled them & glued a pearl into the center,
I stamped the sentiment (one of Tim's) onto scrap card,
tore it out & inked the edges,
Glued it all in place & added
the fibers through the hole at the top.
& there you have it,
Hope you like it!
must dash, busy, busy, busy, lol
Don't forget to enter my blog candy.
Thanks for stopping by,
Back soon,
