Inspired by Hel's Sheridan

I got the inspiration for this wall hanging from craft stamper mag feb 2010 it was by Hels Sheridan her blog is a fantastic source of inspiration for me, click hels blog to have a look.

I love making theese roses, they are so affective and all you need is a flower stamp that has six petals some grunge paper, distress ink and glue (minimal outlay for miximum affect), the distressed inks used are wild honey, spiced marigold, rusty hinge and peeled paint. the sentiment is tim holtz of course, the butterflys are infact a necklace and earings I found in a charity shop £2.00 the set, I used the chain from the necklace for the hanging part and still have loads left for another project, thats about it, apart from a chipboard frame, three brads,a martha stewart punch and some bling, a bit of gluing and Bobs your uncle, job done.

A couple of close ups,
I hope you have a lovely saturday back soon Katx
