head over their to read all the details,
I love the theme this week it's right up my street,
I have decided to make a shadow box,
with the theme of time, as I have so many stamps relating to this,
I don't seem to be able to resist a clock or time piece stamp,
they just jump off the shelf & into my basket LOL,
the stamps I have used are from various different manufacturers
(sorry it's just to many to list)
I cut a piece of card to fit the frame,
then chopped it up into stamp able sized pieces, stamped all the images,
& then blended the edges of each piece,
I then stuck it all back together on another piece of card,
& it was ready to embellish.
the images have all been inked up with walnut stain distress ink
(I think it is slightly softer than using something like archival ink)
I then blended with brushed corduroy & peeled paint,
I used an old watch including the strap & some bit's & bob's from my stash,
I used mica sprays to colour the frame (I lost track on the colours
I just kept spraying different ones until I was happy with it)
then went over it with the walnut ink straight from the pad to age it a bit,
all the embellishments have been stuck on with
either glossy accents or silicone glue.
here is a picture of what the shadow box looked like before I altered it,
(It was a steel at 50p from a boot sale)
hope you like it,
it was relatively easy to make, & not to TIME consuming,
(get it...time ....LOL)
I would also like to welcome the two new followers to my blog,
so a big welcome to sweetcraf-teachic & sarah_engels_greer,
it always frills me to thing people like my blog enough to follow it.
