Grungy Monday 08 over at studio L3
the technique this time from Tim is
Tim's September, 2008 Technique Challenge
Linda has the link on her blog for the technique,
so go check it out,

Here's my entry,

As you can see it's another tag,

I must admit I struggled with this one,
this is the 3 attempt,
the first attempt the inks I used were to dark,
the second attempt I used to much water,
& this attempt I think the inks are to pale,
but this is it never the less.

the stamps I used are from
Paper Artsy,

The butterflies are broaches I picked up at boot sales
& the bells are from an old  Xmas Dec,

there it is,
Hope you like it!

  1. Very nice! The colors may be muted, but it sets the butterflies and text off so nicely!

  2. This is beautiful. No one can tell you struggled with it. I had a hard time getting the right amount of water for the right colour too. Great job.

  8. This is fabulous Kat, just love the colours and layout. I had 3 attempts too, it's about getting the right amount of ink and water without too much pressure I think. I will still have to practice more!!
    Enjoy the weekend.

  9. This is positively gorgeous, Kat! I love the subtle, perfect use of the GM technique, and the sentiment is awesome! Those big golden bells are such a clever embellishment, too! The butterflies? FABULOUS!

If it's any consolation, it took me five tries before I had a sample I liked!
