ALTERED ALICE CHALLENGE...

Hi all,
THIS IS THE LAST DAY TO ENTER MY BLOG CANDY
THE LINK TO ALL THE DETAIL'S IS IN THE LEFT SIDE BAR

just popped in today to tell you about the challenge over at
altered Alice blog
it's THE MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY,
this event happens twice a year,
intrigued,
then head over there to check out all the details.

the sponsor this month is the artistic stamper
and they are offering a £15 voucher for Artistic Stamper stamps!

I am also going to enter this in
Simon says stamp and show blog
the theme this time is to show some Distressed/Torn Edges

Here's what I came up with,

I decided to make a step card
in the shape of the mad hatters top hat,

after much designing & engineering
this is what I came up with
(I have taken photos from every angle
& included all the measurements
incase you want to have a go at making one)

in the photo below is some of the things I used,

I added some buttons, trim & ribbon,
as well as the winged clock that was in my scraps box,
the playing cards came out of a Xmas cracker
(waste not want not) lol
I bent & grunged them up a bit though
as they were to shinny & white,

the punch reminded me of a lacy table cloth
so I thought that's what I would bring
to the party,
(all fresh,clean,crisp & white, starched to within a inch of it's life)lol

now, I am not sure if I qualify to enter for the prize,
because I am due to join the
in July, but I'm sure someone will let me know.

I am quite pleased wit the way it turned out,
Hope you like it!

I WILL BE BACK TOMORROW
WITH THE RESULT
OF MY BLOG CANDY DRAW,
see you then.
Thanks for stopping by,
Back soon,
Kat x.

  6. THANKS so much for bringing a tablecloth to The Altered Alice Mad Tea Party!!! I love Love LOVE your creation, and I am thrilled that you used the same Mabel Lucie Attwell image! The stair step card is a fabulous idea and you have executed it beautifully. The "tablecloth" being on point behind the focal point image really adds a lot, and the pleated rosettes and cards are the perfect finising touch!
