I'm here today with my July page,
We are half way through the year, hasn't that gone fast,
I am loving this challenge, because it makes me journal
(I love creating the page, but not the journaling side so much, I never know what to right)
My finished June page will appear as if by magic near the bottom of this post,
For those of you that are not in the know,
this challenge lasts the whole year,
you have to journal every day in the form of 12 monthly calender pages,
& then head over to the the the the kathryn wheel blog & link up your creation,
so Kate Crane & any one else can see what you have come up with,
If you like the sound of that? you can jump in at any time along the way,
so get cracking & head over HERE to check it out.
This page has a much different feel to my last couple of happy summery cutey ones,
I went for vintage moody if there is such a thing (lol)
Here's what I used for the background,
Then I stamped with the stamps & ink pictured below
& this is how it finished up,
(love it!)
now for the embellishments,
the balloon lady is cut from a graphic 45, 12x12 paper
the July is stamped & embossed with Tim's alphabet mini cirque set
the car is also a Tim stamp & the wings are cut from
Tim's heart wings die, & some scraps of paper,
for the squares,
this time I cut them from scraps of paper
into 1 & a half inch squares
the days of the week are done on my computer,
as are the numbers (then punched them out with a circle punch)
I used a Zig pen & white gel pen to doodle round the squares.
Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by,
Back soon,
Kat x.
